Collecting agents

Collecting agents are chemicals used in flotation processes that have an affinity to certain components to be concentrated in the process.

In the paper recycling industry collecting agents/collectors will bind ink particles released from the waste paper to the tiny air-bubbles formed in the flotation process. Hereby an ink-sludge is formed, which can be skimmed off as waste, generating brighter fibres for re-use in paper making processes. Nopco has various collecting agents for specific use in the paper industry and will help you to find the correct product for your individual need.
