Technical description
Our sticky control technology is a system that reduces tackiness of stickies, prevents agglomeration of micro stickies and formation of secondary stickies, and increases retention of stickies to ensure that they will not have a negative effect on paper quality or paper machine runnability.
It is a cationic surface active detackifier. The effective components surround micro stickies and passivate them, thus preventing formation of larger agglomerates and secondary stickies. In the second step, the passivated micro stickies are fixed to fibres and fines, and discharged from the process with paper.
