Increasing runnability
Flocculants may be added during soap separation to achieve a faster and better separation
The raw soap becomes less contaminated with black liquor and easier to handle. If soap separation is a bottleneck, the addition of a flucculant increases soap production. This also gives better operation of the acidulator and increases its production capacity.
