Defoamers
In the paper coating process defoamers are applied to avoid build up of foam and entrained air in the coating colour, in order to secure quality of the dried coating layer.
Oil based defoamers are often used in coating processes. These defoamers are dispersible, water free formulations and can contain various types of components. Also water based defoamers for specialised coating applications can be delivered. A range of different formulations are available depending on process conditions and customer needs.
